Postgrad Research Associate / PhD Studentship in Vienna

Sara Hintze and Christoph Winckler are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated PhD student who is eager to develop and work on research projects in the area of animal emotions. The successful candidate is expected to work on a project and to write a PhD thesis in the field of animal welfare science.

This position is for 30 hours a week, 4 year contract and to start as soon as possible. Candidates will need an MSc in a related subject, basic knowledge of applied ethology and / or animal welfare science, very good command of English and curiosity, creativity and resilience.
