Position Description

In December 2018, Jack Anderson and Wynne Chisholm gifted the University of Calgary a 19,000 acre, 1000 head cow-calf ranch. In support of this generous donation, the University of Calgary, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (UCVM) invites applications for three tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level to further develop and support the research themes at the WA Ranches. Research themes will be applying a One Health approach to animal health and welfare, as well as focusing on the interface among human, animal and environmental health. All positions include a commitment to teach, conduct research and engage in professional and university service. Successful candidates will join an established team of cattle researchers and educators and will be essential to development of an internationally recognized Beef Centre for Excellence. W.A.
