ISCF Transforming Food Production – Science and Technology into Practice: Feasibility Studies

Type of funding: Agri-tech collaborations

Eligible industrial and academic participants can apply for a share of up to £15 million to provide end users with evidence of technical feasibility and economic viability or demonstrate near market solutions. This funding is from the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund (ISCF).

This new competition to be opened soon aims to increase engagement and collaboration between R&D, end-users and all stakeholders. Solutions must have the potential to improve productivity and sustainability.

Deadline: 26/02/2020

Eligibility criteria:

Feasibility studies total eligible costs must be between £75,000 and £250,000. Up to 70% of costs can be covered depending on business size: for research organisations 80% FEC is available.

Projects must start by 26th August 2020 and end by 28th February 2022.

Lead organisations must be a UK registered business or research organisation, involve at least one SME (small or medium sized enterprise), collaborate, carry out the project work in the UK and intend to exploit the results from or in the UK.
