Masters by Research Funding

Type of funding: Masters by Research

A PetSavers' Masters Degree by Research (MDR) will fund a postgraduate student to work full time on a specific research project, with or without attendance at some short courses (e.g. statistics, thesis presentation). PetSavers will fund, for a period of one year, the following costs up to a maximum in aggregate of £40,000; Postgraduate stipend at UKRI standard rates, payment of University fees, equipment and consumables (up to £10,000 inc VAT) depending on nature of project.

Eligibility criteria:

The research student should be a veterinary surgeon or registered veterinary nurse. Projects must be undertaken at a University or the Animal Health Trust and projects must be within the UK. At least one applicant must hold a veterinary degree and be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
