Lecturer in Clinical Animal Behaviour

The main purpose of this role is to play a key part in the delivery and assessment of the online MSc Clinical Animal Behaviour alongside the enhancement of postgraduate teaching initiatives. Central to this will be the development of a companion animal behaviour service within the Hospital for Small Animals which the post holder will lead. You will be responsible for your own caseload and provide clinical instruction to veterinary students, interns and residents as appropriate.

Working in a multidisciplinary environment where collaboration is actively encouraged, you will be joining the growing Postgraduate teaching team as well as teams of specialists in internal medicine, oncology, orthopaedics, neurology and exotics among others. You will be provided with the support and time you require to develop your clinical interests, teaching and research ambitions. Research in Edinburgh takes place within a vibrant, integrated, and interdisciplinary research structure which facilitates and encourages interaction between researchers across groups, centres, schools and colleges.

Salary: £41,526 to £49,553 for 35 hours each week
