Lecturer in Animal Welfare

The Biological Sciences Group within the School of Biological & Marine Sciences at the University of Plymouth is seeking to appoint a new Lecturer. You will have expertise within the general remit of animal welfare, and be a highly motivated academic who will contribute to the overall ongoing success of the School.

You will combine an aspiration to be world-class in your area of research with enthusiastic and research-informed teaching. Although the role is closely aligned to our BSc Animal Behaviour and Welfare Programme, you will contribute to teaching across the Biological Sciences Subject Group at undergraduate and postgraduate level. You will have a doctoral degree in a relevant field, supported by experience at postdoctoral or equivalent level, and a proven research track record demonstrated through high calibre outputs of a quality likely to contribute to our future UK Research Excellence Framework (REF) submission.

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.

Salary: £34,804 to £49,553 per annum
