Animal Cognition and Welfare Workshop

The ASAB Audrey Eyton Animal Cognition and Welfare Workshop is taking place from 20th to 22nd September 2022 in Devon, UK.
The workshop aims to bring together a group of approximately 25 people (established researchers and ECRs) to discuss all aspects of animal minds in a creative and enjoyable atmosphere. Walks are optional and meals and accommodation are provided. Plenary speakers are Dr Neeltje J. Boogert from University of Exeter on ‘Early life effects on social behaviour and cognition’ and Dr Jan Langbein from Research Institute for Farm Animal Biology on ‘Farm animal cognition and its application for animal housing and management’.
Funded places are available, in memory of Adrey Eyton’s contribution to ASAB educational activities. In order to apply you need to be working on animal cognition and / or welfare, be willing to present your current work and be able to fund your own travel to Devon.
