Courses on Animal Welfare Science, Ethics and Law (http://cawsel.com) are a series of four specialised courses designed to provide participants with an in-depth appreciation of animal welfare science, ethics and law and are aimed at anyone with a professional or personal interest in animal welfare. With a legacy of over two decades, CAWSEL takes place from the 6th to the 18th of September in Cambridge UK, in an informal, classroom-style environment where 15 world renowned animal welfare experts deliver the material through a range of presentations, videos and open discussions.
CAWSEL is comprised of four individual courses:
– Welfare Concepts and Assessment, and Zoo Animal Welfare, 6-8 September 2020
– Law and Companion Animal, And Horse Welfare, 9-12 September 2020
– Laboratory Animal Welfare and Principles of Animal Ethics, 14-16 September 2020
– Farm Animal Welfare, 17-18 September 2020
Participants can choose to attend any of the four courses, which can all be booked individually. CAWSEL 2020 will be offering a full day of Zoo Animal Welfare on Tuesday 8 September in addition to the Horse Welfare day taught on Saturday 12 September.
