The NC3Rs and the Institute of Animal Technology (IAT) are hosting the Animal Technicians’ Symposium on 11th and 12th October 2021, aimed primarily at junior technicians.
The event will showcase the latest refinement opportunities and approaches to improving animal welfare, with topics such as handling, breeding and genotyping of laboratory animal species. The
programme also includes a panel discussion led by experts in animal technology with a track record in promoting animal welfare and the 3Rs, where the attendees will have the chance to ask questions or just listen in for advice on their future career development.
This meeting is for the professional development of animal technicians. However, we recognise the content may also be of interest to veterinarians and personal licence holders.
