RSPCA – Focus on Fish

This meeting aims to bring together those involved in the care, use and regulation of fish in research and testing to explore the topic of the welfare of fish used in scientific research. In particular, this meeting will focus on efforts to reduce suffering, with an emphasis on general refinements, welfare assessment, and humane endpoints. Topics already confirmed include refinement strategies for laboratory zebrafish, the social and physical environment of wild zebrafish, and monitoring fish for clinical signs.
There is no delegate charge for attending, however places are limited and those with direct involvement in the care and use of fish will be prioritised.
