Dealing with unsuccessful applications

The video below contains the talk by John Tregoning (Imperial College London), on dealing with unsuccessful grant applications titled “Fail – Better”.  John gives an amusing insight into his career, discussing points at which he has wanted to quit, highlights some of the positives about a career in research, discusses resilience and learning how to fail and reminds us that it is just a job and that we can change things if we want to. John finishes by pointing us in the direction of some interesting reading materials to help us gain a positive mindset.
