ISAE UK & Ireland Regional Conference will be held on 27 April 2023 at Harper Adams University with the plan to arrange a conference dinner on the evening of the 26 April. The ISAE regional conference is open to both members and non-members so please do share the date with colleagues.

Cost of attendance is £40 for full paying members and £25 for student members, which includes tea / coffee and a lunch on the day.
Abstract submission
Deadline for abstract submission is 28th February.
Please submit your abstracts via email to ukireland.isae@gmail.com using the title ‘ISAE abstract’. Please ensure you save the file name as your surname and submit it as a .doc or .docx file. We would welcome both oral and poster presentations – please specify your preference (Full presentation: 15 minutes plus questions; speed presentation: 5 minutes plus questions; poster).
There is no theme for this conference so they would very much welcome anything which fits the remit of the ISAE.
Conference Programme
They are delighted to be joined by Professor Francoise Wemelsfelder as their keynote speaker. Further details on the proposed programme will be circulated in the New Year.
There will be a social event and dinner the evening before the conference (26 April) at The Lamb Inn near to Harper. If you would like to attend please let them know via email so they have approximate numbers, and also please do let us know any catering requirements.

If you are looking for other accommodation please make sure you specify Newport (Shropshire), otherwise you might end up in Wales!
This year ISAE are in a position to support some student members of the UK & Ireland branch of the ISAE to attend the conference. Please note this only covers travel and accommodation, it does not cover the conference fee, as the conference fee is already offered at a reduced rate for students to support attendance. In order to qualify you must be a member of the ISAE, and you must have an abstract accepted for presentation. To apply for funding support you must return the attached form along with a short CV by 5pm on 28 February 2023.
Please note that this is being held the day after the AWRN-funded Workshop on ‘Understanding the impact of human-animal and machine-animal interactions on animals’ which is at the same venue to enable delegates to combine the two into one trip.
